4:00 AM – 4:30 AM | Pickup at your hotel in Cusco

The adventure begins very early in the morning. Our team will pick you up directly at your hotel in Cusco to begin the journey to one of the most breathtaking natural wonders of the Peruvian Andes. As we leave the city behind, you’ll be able to watch as the first rays of sunlight begin to illuminate the mountains surrounding the valley.

6:30 AM | Buffet breakfast on the road

After about a two-hour drive, we’ll stop for a delicious breakfast buffet at a local restaurant in the area. Here, you can refuel with a variety of hot dishes, fresh fruit, hot beverages, and traditional fare, getting ready for the exciting adventure ahead.

8:00 AM | Arrival at the checkpoint – Vinicunca

We will continue our journey through breathtaking Andean landscapes, small traditional villages, and vast grasslands where it is common to see alpacas and llamas grazing freely. Upon arriving at the Vinicunca checkpoint, we will complete the necessary registration before beginning the next leg of the journey.

8:30 AM – 9:30 AM | Exploring the Mountain of Colors

Once you reach the viewpoint, you’ll have plenty of time to explore and enjoy one of Peru’s most breathtaking landscapes: the famous Rainbow Mountain, or Vinicunca.

The natural bands of red, yellow, green, and violet hues create a unique visual spectacle that looks like something from another planet. Here you can:

• Take amazing photos
• Enjoy the Andean scenery
• Take a walk around the lookout point
• Connect with nature at one of Cusco’s most iconic destinations

Our guides will be on hand to provide you with interesting information about the mountain’s geological formation and help you take the best photos.

11:00 AM | Return to the tour bus

After enjoying the viewpoint and the mountain experience, our tour bus will be waiting for us. From there, we’ll begin our return trip, once again passing through the landscapes of the Andes mountain range.

12:00 PM | Buffet lunch

On the way back, we’ll stop for a buffet lunch featuring a variety of local dishes made with fresh, regional ingredients. This will be the perfect time to relax, share your experiences, and recharge after the adventure.

1:00 PM | Return trip to Cusco

After lunch, we’ll begin our return trip to Cusco. Along the way, you’ll once again be able to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Andes, as we reflect on the incredible experience we had at the Mountain of Colors.

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM | Arrival in Cusco

Finally, we’ll arrive in the city of Cusco, where we’ll drop you off near the Plaza de Armas or at a central location. And so concludes this unforgettable adventure to one of Peru’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.
