8:00 AM – 8:40 AM | Pickup at your hotel in Cusco
The adventure begins very early in the morning. Our team will pick you up directly at your hotel in Cusco to begin the journey.
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Sacsayhuaman
Our first stop will be at the main Inca fortress. Its gigantic stone blocks fit together so precisely that they seem to have been carved by gods
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM | Qenqo
We will continue our tour to Qenqo, an ancient Inca ceremonial site located just a few minutes from Cusco. At this archaeological site, you’ll see impressive rock formations carved by the Incas, as well as underground passages and chambers that were used for ceremonies and religious rituals.
11:20 AM – 12:00 PM | Tambomachay
The tour continues to Tambomachay, an Inca archaeological site known for its impressive canals and water fountains that still flow steadily. This site is considered a center dedicated to the worship of water and is notable for the precision of its hydraulic engineering. Surrounded by beautiful Andean landscapes, Tambomachay offers a fascinating glimpse into the knowledge and connection the Incas had with nature.
12:20 AM – 1:00 PM | Pucapucara
The tour continues to Pucapucara, an ancient Inca structure known as the “Red Fortress,” a name derived from the reddish hue its stones take on at sunset. This archaeological site likely served as a military and checkpoint for those entering the city of Cuzco, as well as a resting place for travelers throughout the empire. From here, you can also enjoy beautiful views of the Andean landscape.
01:30 pM – 02:00PM | Qoricancha
Y finalmente continuaremos el recorrido con la visita al Qorikancha, conocido como el Templo del Sol y considerado uno de los centros religiosos más importantes del Imperio Inca en Cuzco.
